Dr Cathy Tong has been my PCP since 2008. In that time she has provided me with excellent care, always taking my concerns, seriously. We've navigated some health challenges and I trust her advice. She is extremely bright but has always found a way to explain her findngs clearly to me. She is caring and top notch.

I have never had a doctor in whom I had so much faith. Dr. Tong listens and then acts. She is a fantastic doctor.

I am a crusty old curmudgeon who bears the livid scar of a quadruple bypass. I'm basically lucky to be here at all - and lucky to have had Dr. Tong as my PCP for many years. I have always found her to be thoughtful, kind, engaged and patient. When I have had to deal with any of the thousand and one petty plagues of ordinary aging - she has always been hugely helpful in getting me to the right person to address my latest ache or ailment. She asks good questions - and doesn't just reflexively write a Rx for an antibiotic just to make her patient stop whining. I have read some of the grouchy reviews above. If you can't get along with Dr. Tong - you might just be a real pill yourself.

when I asked what's the name of medicine she prescribed for my wife, she keeped her eyes on her cellphone and asked us to go home and looked it up. Very rude and unprofessional!

At age 76, I have been to quite a few doctors, mostly in Boston. Cathy Tong is the stand alone best ever. I totally trust her.

Within 15 of meeting her she was disrespectful towards me. She was upset because her appointments were backed up from the day before. There was a snow storm so the office was closed. That does not give her a reason to show disrespect towards me. When I asked for a referral to a Doctor outside of her network she denied it. She will not get her bonus if she approves it. I changed PCPs.

She is never on time. Spends too much time chatting with others. Doesn’t listen to her patients ST ALL !! Sarcastic..... poor overall manners... skills and a nasty attitude!!!

Dr Tong has been my and my husband's primary care physician for going on ten years and the care she gives us is outstanding. She is patient, thorough and caring. We trust her and like her. We recommend her to our friends and neighbors.The office staff are always friendly and helpful and we really like Nurse Melissa, too.
