Dr. Cecillia Ching-Wen Tsao, MD

Thank you for the opportunity to say something about Dr. Tsao, whom I met two times. She is a very caring, understanding, and knows what to do for her patients. I feel that my needs will be met though her thoughtfulness.

If you need a referral (or anything for that matter) DO NOT GO HERE. I asked repeatedly for referrals so that I could see two different specialists. One referral was received after weeks of reminding. I sent in email and phone requests which were either ignored, or I was referred to an office that was not open and would reach a number saying, "this number is no longer in service." When I called the office for support, I was not offered further support on making an appointment with the office I was referred to even though they had given me referrals that I simply couldn't use. And despite knowing that I had a referral that was urgent, my request was still dismissed and I was told to call my insurance instead. These just seem like errors that did not EVER need to happen. This office needs to update their referral list as well as better listen to their client concerns. (Told them I was uncomfortable with male doctors, and was only given referrals for male doctors...). This is not even to… mention the experiences I had in a couple of my appointments here. TL;DR: **I now have an urgent medical procedure that two months ago had they filled out the referral properly would not have been urgent at all. This office completely exemplifies the roadblocks created by the bureaucracy of the health care system. Would not recommend for people with past trauma, urgent needs, or any type of specific support or accommodations**
