Dr. Celeste Emily Straight, MD

I've spent most of my life going to those dreaded annual check-ups ... feeling anxious, uncomfortable and feeling personally intruded upon. It's hard to believe a trip to an OB-GYN could be "amazing" ... but it was today with my first visit with Dr. Straight. She took the time to get to know me spending 30+ minutes asking questions... made a concerted effort to get to know me. I really appreciated that. She had a kind, gentle manner... wonderful energy and engaging personality. Most important she was intelligent, thorough and genuinely cared. All you women out there, if you're looking for an exceptional ob-gyn doctor.... Dr. Straight is the one. Just loved her receptionist (so nice) and doctor's assistant (positive and fun) as well. The whole experience was remarkable.

Wonderful OBGYN who is caring, takes the time to listen to your concerns and compassionate. She was instrumental in my postpartum recovery. Highly recommend

Had irregular bleeding leading me to grow concerned and ask for an earlier appt to see if I was ok and she pushed it off saying “it happens we can wait til the next appt”. I have had irregular paps leading to one colposcopy (during pregnancy) then after my child I SHOULD have gotten another colpo 6 months postpartum. When I switched drs and asked them for my most recent pap tht was ALSO irregular the nurses were VERY rude and combative “well you don’t always HAVE to have another colpo I don’t understand their reasoning” well I’m sorry I’d rather be safe than sorry with my children needing me. Will NOT be going back after she basically said it was ‘in my head’ to both me AND my sister.

Very intelligent, patient, and has great bedside manner. She listens to patients complaint, thoroughly explains the problem, workup and treatment options. Is not judgemental, does not push personal preferences on to patient. I am very happy to have met her as a physician.
