Dr. Celeste Biancha Waters, MD

I never write reviews but my experience here was pretty rough. First off, I'll only get a call from a hidden number when being contacted by this office. A little sketchy and made it difficult to get in touch since the office number is never answered. Have been cancelled on, and spoken rudely to over the phone, which made it difficult to continue seeing this psychiatrist. Peter is great, very friendly and prompt on getting back to you. Dr. Waters, not so much. I've gone days without hearing back from her. The most expensive medication option was also pushed for one of my conditions. Received a second opinion from another psychiatrist who stated the differences between drug A (expensive newer drug) and drug B (less expensive alternative formula) were not significant enough to warrant the extra cost in my case. Unfortunately this was glanced over during our meetings, which made me feel like my condition was not being taken seriously. She was the cheapest option in my network so I guess… you get what you pay for. I would not recommend going to Dr. Waters unless you have no other options, or know your condition and just need a psychiatrist to prescribe medications that you are well educated about. Posting on multiple sites to ensure people are aware.

Dr. Waters has been treating me for the last 6-8 months. She is an excellent doctor and very caring. After each session she even cares and hugs people after each session she even cares enough to hug you when you leave. She has helped me change my life for the better and I'll always remember her for that.

Dr. Waters is an excellent doctor. She is very through in medication maintenance and in requesting Lab reports. She also includes Nutrition as a part of treatment. I would recommend Dr. Waters to anyone.

Excellent Psychiatrist. Cares deeply for her patients. Very thorough, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and warm person.

She is really good Ian not depressed anymore, I even recommended her a friend and sh has really help with his anxiety

I hope this review helps someone avoid this doctor. Completely mishandled our case and couldn't care less about our daughter. Wasted our time, and put us in a worse position. Lowest rated Psychiatrist on the Central Coast. AVOID

Do not go to Dr. Celeste B. Waters, it is only a matter of time before a patient of hers dies, that is if one already hasn't. She over medicates you and then leaves you hanging with out knowing what to do. She is an Alpha Dog and has a very large EGO, if she doesn't like what you are doing she will dump you like a hot potato! Going to her was a huge mistake! Look her up and you will see after researching her!

I've been seeing Dr. Waters for 3 years. She is the best Psychiatrist that I've ever had. She is warm caring and easy to talk with. I've been improved 100 % after being in her care. If there is any emergency, she is always accessible to talk with..

She is Very nice and understaning and very smart

I was impressed with Dr. Waters at first. She was very caring and I trusted her and her medical opinion. It went downhill very quickly....first she started cancelling appointments (usually the day of the appointment) because of ill health and then my pharmacy informed me that they couldn't fill my prescriptions because she had dropped me as a patient. When I called, the office staff informed me it was because I hadn't been in to see her in a few months, even though it was Dr. Waters that had cancelled the last 5 appointments I had made. Once that was straightened out I started seeing her on a more regular basis but she was never entirely "all there". I trusted her medical knowledge, especially with the prescriptions she was writing, and I recently ended up in the ER with a grand mal seizure. According to the doctors, it was the direct result of the medications she had prescribed me and they should have never been mixed together. I should have listened to my gut when she could never… remember exactly what was going on with me when I was in her office. Do the research before you see her....she has had legal action taken against her and the records are publicly available.
