Dr. Chad William Farley, MD

This report is more about Rockcreek Neurology than Dr Farley. This clinic is deceptive. Dr Farley is contracted with my insurance, Rockcreek Neurology is contracted with my insurance but…..the employees that work there apparently AREN’T. They don’t tell you this. You assume that since the doctor is contracted, his PA would be too. The only time you actually get to see Dr Farley is right before surgery, all other appointments are with his PA. Well, after you get a few appointments in, they finally bill the insurance and lo and behold, the PA you’ve been seeing isn’t covered. Instead of just a copay, you pay the copay and the non-contracted doctor fee. What a nice surprise. Before even checking into this office, you better make sure the receptionist is contracted

My husband had two back surgeries from Dr. Farley. He had symptoms indicating a spinal fluid leak after the second surgery, but Dr. Farley denied that this was the problem and refused to help him get the treatment he needed. He wouldn’t even make time to meet with us and only spoke with us over the phone. The receptionist laughed out loud when we went in (with my husband in a lot of pain) to seek an appointment. We had to go through a different doctor for my husband to get a referral for a blood patch to treat the leak and he finally felt relief. Over a year later, he still has numbness in his foot and it seems like the doctor should have recommended the fusion earlier. Horrible experience. Would never seek treatment again or recommend Dr. Farley to anyone.

He is Dismissive and short. He asked me what had been happening, I said maybe five words and he stopped me saying “thats enough, I’ve heard enough.” He also had me come into the office for an appointment just to tell me he didn’t know how to help and he’d refer me. Why wasn’t that a phone call? My first sign he wasn’t a caring doctor should have been the poor woman crying in his office while her friend yelled at him for being so dismissive of her post surgery concern. I wouldn’t recommend him. He doesn’t care about his patients.

The female PA is very cold and doesn’t return calls or follow through. She’s very dismissive. I would not recommend.

We came in from another state to see Dr. Farley, he treated me like I had nothing wrong. I am now getting a second opinion!! Don't go to this Dr!! They don't care about you, they only want your money!!!!

Dr Farley and his staff have my undying gratitude for the pain relief I was given. A few hours after surgery the nursing staff came into my room to help me get “up and moving”. I was extremely fearful of the potential pain I expected but the staff simply said “trust us, it won’t be painful”. I looked at them, took a couple of deep breaths and put my leg on the floor, stood up and just as I’d been told there was no pain running down my left leg. I started to cry and explain that it had been 55 years that I’d had my first sciatica pain My life has changed in a ,ost positive way and I am looking forward to playing with my grand and great grandchildren. I am scared to death of surgery, but Dr. Farley explained everything and took time to answer ALL my questions. Office staff were nice and treated my well.

Dr. Farley did a good job and I am pleased with the outcome.

His PA Jordan sucks! All he wants to do is load you up on pain pills. I would not recommend this dr.
