I met Dr. P over 30 years ago. At the time he was working the emergency room at a Louisville hospital. I was just a few months in residence here in Louisville. As an educator, I did what we often do and that is hold our urine too much. Developed a problem. NO ONE could diagnose my sudden constant urination problem. He did what no other doctor could. He told me flat out that it was a specific type of infection. The medication was very costly at that time - 1 dollar a pill. He was frank with what he said and it was that if this did not cure it, then I might need more serious interventions. He cautioned me to drink lots of water every day - and to STOP what I am doing and "empty my bladder several times a day" - go to the bathroom when needed. I have never had another urinary problem because I heeded his advice. One of his specialities is kidneys - believe him, he has great knowledge. Why do you think that he has a full waiting room all of the time? He is frank and will just tell you… exactly what you need to know. I then became his patient and stayed with him all of these years because he never diagnosed wrongly. He will caution you in flu season to not swallow phlem and to properly cover your mouth - like so many do not do - and to stay home and get well. We do not want to do what he says - "herbs" as it has been referred to work! He pulls his chair up beside you and TALKS with you and LISTENS to what you ave to say. If you are a wimp and trying to just get medication instead of making a life style change, he is not an over medicator, nor will he let you just cover your situation with drugs; but I assure you he is top of the line. I have never had another urination problem like that. He appreciates people who have done at least some reading on their situation. Just because he does not speak English as well as some other UNITED STATES doctors does not mean that he is not brilliant! You can disagree with him and tell him that you do - and he will let you and appreciate that you have a differing opionion, but do give him credit for being top rated instead of slamming him because he refuses to just give you a drug. For anyone who is not comfortable with him, I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD leave his practice. All doctors' persnalities do not agree with all patients. I appreciate a doctor who says, "Lose some weight" and that will help, too. Or one who gives you alternative methods of getting well. He is not incompetent at all! We need more like him.

Quack.he likes to give people herbs and music for medication.I mean really?dont go he miss diagnosed 3 people that were in my family they went to a second doctor to look at them.And turns out he was wrong. my 3 family members needed major meds they had staff infections.

I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.Please do NOT see this doctor!He had me on Ambien for over a year than decided that he would no longer give me this medicine after i was completly out!I still was having sleeping problems.I asked him if he could give me one more perscription a lower dose of 5mg instead of the 10mg he was giving me,so i could wing myself off.My body was used to this drug for over 1 year.He would not do it!So now i am a having withdrawls.All i wanted was a lower dose of one more perscription to wing myself off.But he wants people to suffer,AFTER he got me ADDICTED a full YEAR to this medicine.PLEASE do not go to him!He is un-caring.Meanwhile he is at home getting a good nights rest im sweating,tired,and feel like i can't breath! THANKS DOCTOR.

Need to improvement of technology .. sign in list and all medical, treatment history on COMPUTER not on SCRATCH papers...Need to be nicer to clients, and hire someone well speak english.
