Dr. Chaitanya Malempati, DO

My ambition in scheduling with Malempati was to find a provider with solid communication skills, competence in his medical procedural abilities, a willingness to do a physical assessment of my present condition and someone who exhibited a modicum of concern about his patient’s wellbeing. Regrettably, my experience in his care showed that, in my situation, he was devoid of each of those competencies. Malempati could not successfully extract excess synovial fluid from my left knee joint. I was in a great deal of pain from the injection, unlike each of the 5 other times I've had the procedure done. Although he said there was no fluid coming out, another provider extracted 20 cc of synovial fluid 2 days later. It was by far the most egregious, unprofessional and experience I’ve had in my six decades engaging with healthcare providers and approximately 12 years occasionally visiting orthopedists.

Great results with a shoulder surgery!

I ended up needing rotator cuff and bicep reattachment surgery. Dr. Malempati quickly and effectively diagnosed both problems. The surgery was scheduled and performed in short order and actually was performed the day after Christmas. Which helped me greatly since my Insurance would be easier to deal with at the end of the year instead of right at the beginning of a new year. He also stressed the importance of complying with physical therapy during the recovery period. The surgery was a complete success!

Dr. Malempati performed a total reverse shoulder replacement 6 months ago and it has been a success. Expectations exceeded! Good open communication, great staff, and skilled surgeon. Would definitely see him again if other needs arise.

Dr. Malempati was very caring and concerned and took time to answer all questions. I am progressing toward a positive outcome from my meniscus surgery. I am very pleased with the doctor’s skill and compassionate approach to my health care.

He is an Excellent Orthopedic surgeon. Always on time. Reviews and explains results so that they are easy to understand. Dr. Malempati spends the time needed to discuss your condition and next steps. He saw me immediately after fracturing both sides of my wrist. I would highly recommend Dr. Malempati.

Performed both of my rotator cuff repairs bilateral. Easy scheduling and worked with my VA insurance which is a nightmare. Finally, a doctor that won't let you sit in pain because they're scared to prescribe pain meds. Refills were on time and no hassles during my recovery.

Had a complete rotator cuff reconstruction and bicep tendon repair, explained the entire process and listened to and answered my questions, great professional manner, he's been there throughout every step of recovery, he will always be my go to for orthopedic surgeries (hope I don't need anymore HAHAHA) Highly recommend Dr Malempati very thorough and involved in the recovery process
