I went in for blood work and left without them doing it. The front desk checkout person was rude and talked down to me. She treated me like an old person she could control. I wrote a letter to the Doctor, Doctor Channing M. Smith, to give feedback and he failed to care or respond. Mary the office manager hung up on me today when I called to complain that I was transferred to extensions, three times, where the employees audix stated they were either out for the remainder of the year, or due to employees being out the remainder of the year, it could an extended time for anyone to respond. She just stated "I removed the charge as it was not something that Medicare or Plan F covered" and then hung up on me. Read the reviews about this practice before going to them. I've never experienced anything like this in 65 years of going to a doctor.

Doctor is good. Be careful for that office staff. He doctor ordered blood test, but the nurse sent the blood to a wrong test or something. Anyway I have to come back to draw the blood again and end up paying “twice”.

Dr. Smith is a compassionate and caring doctor. Staff on the other hand is not. Most are rude and uncaring but there are a few that are nice. My family has been going to Dr. Smiths for over 15 years. If it wasn't for Dr. Smith, I would have left due to the rudeness of the staff.

I love Dr. Smith but am extremely unhappy with his office environment and staff. Staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, takes days to return calls, seem completely unorganized, office area is congested, vitals are taken in an open area with several people standing around, open patient files laying around in checkout area.

he is the only doctor i have ever had that had such an excellent bedside manner. he is a very caring and wonderful doctor.
