Very caring and actually listens to her patients

I've been with Dr Kates for several years. She is kind, thoughtful and efficient. Each visit Dr Kates takes her time to evaluate my issues (I have a few). Her bedside manner is great and she encourages feedback. Each visit when I have blood work done, she goes over it with a fine toothed comb ... making sure I understand each and every step we take together. I trust her and can call her for any of my health needs. The office staff on the other hand can be borderline rude. The are definitely not a complement to Dr Kates. I will continue to see Dr Kates, but I wish she had her own private office.

Dr Kates has an awesome personality. Her bedside manner was excellent! She appears to be limited as to her ability to recognize certain Medical issues, therefore, you probably will not get very thorough blood work done, unless you are familiar with your condition, and have researched your symptoms. She is a fairly new Physician. I think she means well, but; she was not the best MD for me. The office is too compact, front desk staff is loud and unfriendly. No need to separate sick Patients from well Patients because everyone uses the same check in, therefore, there is no way to avoid the germs. Wait time was horrible and I did feel rushed once I was seen. Overall, not a very professional practice. Hippa rules are definitely violated due to the very loud receptionist upon check in. Having Quality insurance means nothing here.

Dr Kate's is an excellent doctor ,she gives wonderful care.

Have since switched doctors because of the poor care received. Always felt like a fast food order - always an effort to get me in and out as quickly as possible and move on to the next. Wrong diagnosis on several occasions. Never felt listened to about my concerns - always just given a prescription and kicked out the door. All this after an hour-plus wait every single visit.
