Dr. Charlene Elaine Hafer-Macko, MD

After my appointment with this doctor, I was told that she would have her office call me to give me referrals for several medical tests that she wanted me to have completed. It has been a month, and I have not heard from anyone. I have called the office four times and sent multiple emails to her, but can't get any response. I spent all that money for essentially nothing.

I have been a patient of Dr Hafer-Macko's for 18 years and she not has been the kindest, most attentive Dr I have ever had. She is exceptionally busy but always gives you the time you need and never rushes you. I referred a friend to her and where other Drs care had left her in a wheelchair, Dr H-M got her walking again. I highly recommend Dr H-M.

DR.MACKO IS ONE DOCTOR WHO TALKS TO HER PATIENTS IN A MANNER THE PT WILL UNDERSTNAD AND WILL BE COMFORTABLE TO ASK QUESTIONS.SHE DOES NOT SEE HER PATIENTS IN A HURRIED MANNER.LOVE HER!

Dr. Charlene is a rare doctor that gives you as much time as you need to talk to her about your symptoms and issues. This includes working way past quitting times. She has a pleasant voice, is easy to talk to and is very effective in her treatments. She is one of my favorite doctors.

Your secretary is either completely incompetent or you do not respond to patient needs. Emails, faxes, call, walk-in, it doesn't matter...I just can't get the answer to a question about a lab you scheduled. After waiting 7 months to see you, it is unbelievable that I can't get a response. I know you are good, but are you that good that you don't have to treat patients with respect? I have to believe it is your secretary who said to me, "What Dr. Macko says and what Dr. Macko does, are two different things" that is the root of poor care from you. What a shame.
