Dr. Charles Kellogg Anderson, MD

This surgeon didn't explain adequately his plans for the surgery. Alone and afraid, he took no time at all to discuss with me in any depth why he needed to make a vertical incision in my abdomen, disfiguring me for life. He told me he needed to remove my uterus, which was actually healthy. He removed my omentum, which was NOT discussed on not on the consent, leaving me with a compromised immune system. After surgery, when I asked him why he took my healthy uterus, he became defensive and had absolutely no compassion for me condition at all.

I have total confidence in Dr. Anderson. He’s everything a good doctor should be: knowledgeable, competent, compassionate, friendly, and very skilled. I highly recommend him.

He was honest about possible outcomes of surgery and things that could happen, and let me know that he had a plan for each possible outcome - the possibilities were all slightly daunting, but knowing he had a plan made me feel very safe with him. It felt like he knew what he was doing and he was ready to answer any questions or concerns I had.

Dr. Anderson is a fantastic doctor and excellent surgeon. I really feel like my health is important to him and his staff, and completely trust his expertise.

Dr. Anderson is not practicing in Springfield, Oregon and definately doesn't inspire confidence. He gave me some inaccurate information claiming you had to wait 6 weeks between two particular treatments which was not the case at all and the two treatments could be and were done in a manner of days. In addition Dr. Anderson had a very conceited, non caring, dismissive bedside manner. He gives the impression that he thinks he's a better doctor then he may be in actuality. I would not recommend this doctor at all.
