Dr. Charles Edward Claps, MD

Using the muscle sparing technique, Dr. Claps replaced my left knee on May 13th. Today is July 16th, two months after surgery. My recovery has been incredibly fast! I can do just about anything except go down the stairs in the normal way. With my physical therapist, we are working to strengthen my left leg so that going downstairs normally will be happening very soon. I give all the credit to Dr. Claps and his surgical technique.

Staff was rude and relayed a message from Dr Claps based on incorrect information. Staff said they would follow up to clarify and never heard anything. Very uncaring and unprofessional.

Dr. Claps is an excellent doctor. He really cares about his patients health first and foremost. He goes out of his way to give you the best care possible. I highly recommend him.

I am so happy Dr Claps is my doctor. He did a revision knee replacement. He did not rush me on my visits and took the time to answer all my questions. Dr Claps and his staff always returned my calls when I had questions.

Visited the Fayetteville office after a knee replacement. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Clapps is outstanding and if/ when I replace my other knee, I will have him do it. Dave B

It’s been six weeks since my surgery. Dr.Claps did an awesome job on my knee. I never had any pain of any kind. Just the typical stiffness which is normal. Dr. Claps and his surgical staff and his PA John-Michael Riegger are TOP NOTCH as well as everyone from Resurgens Orthopedic in Fayetteville. I couldn’t be happier with my results at this point. Extension and flexion are both at the upper functional end. The incision looks great. Dr. Claps was open and thorough about the operation and aftercare. Any questions I had along the way were answered promptly. I traveled almost 4 hours from Savannah to have him do the procedure and I very glad I did.

Dr. Claps is an excellent doctor! He performed two total hip replacement surgery’s within 3 months of each other. He and his team have saved my life!! I went from barely able to sit and am now walking without the use of any devices. I would sincerely recommend him an his wonderful staff. Doc your my hero.

Dr. Claps most definitely has a talent. He performed a total knee replacement on my right knee. I could not ask for a better outcome; it has only been 12 weeks since and I am walking as if I never had knee problems, The surgery went extremely smooth and my life has changed 100% to the good. I just wish I had done this way before now but I heard so many horror stories, I waited 13 years. Dr. Claps uses robotic surgery which is very precise. Dr. Claps and His office has been nothing but helpful and very knowledgeable. It just doesnt get any better than this. THANK YOU DR. CLAPS!!!
