Dr. Charles Walker Cline, MD

Cline operated on my 80-year old malnourished father. He did not adequately explain risks prior to surgery. Instead of having months more time like cline said, my dad died 10 days after surgery due to edema which made him unable to eat. He basically starved to death. Instead of showing concern, cline was more concerned about getting off the hook. Cline mistakenly thought my dad had alzheimers, yet got consent minutes before surgery from my dad rather than giving my parents time to consider whether to have the surgery in the state my father was in. If he had mentioned the high level of risk given my father’s malnourished state, they could have at least tried giving him protein and other nourishment via IV before the trauma of surgery to give him a better shot of surviving. When my dad’s condition deteriorated following surgery deteriorated, cline was more concerned about not getting blame for my dad’s condition than doing anything to help my father. On the surface, cline tries to appear… like a kind person, but when things fell apart, cline was dismissive and arrogant. We were robbed of precious time with our father by cline. Not recommended.

I had sepsis from diverticulitis and dr. Cline operated on me. His bedside manner was awesome, he explained everything that needed done, then explained everything to my husband when done. Which took longer then expected. Would recommend Dr. Cline to everyone that needs surgery

Dr. Cline is by far the most compassionate, genuine, caring Dr. I have ever encountered. I’ve never felt so comfortable and relaxed around a dr. He’s extremely knowledgeable and explains as thorough as possible. He actually saved my life when Mercy hospital gave up on me. If you’re looking for this specific kind of Dr/surgeon, go to him!

Dr Cline performed emergency surgery on me 7 years ago along with other procedures on me as well and I have never had a more caring doctor take care of me as he was. There’s no beating his bedside manner. He’s the best, in my book.

Dr. Cline is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor who isn't quick to jump to the knife. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

He was thorough with explanations and options. His bedside manner is fantastic and made me feel very comfortable in all respects. Dr. Cline subsequently performed my surgery and I can't praise him enough. I have highly recommended him to others.
