Dr. Charles I. Cooperberg, MD

Dr. Charles Cooperberg is a nephrologist with expertise in internal medicine who has been caring for patients for over four decades. He earned his medical degree from the University of Monterrey in Mexico and completed his residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York in 1986. Dr. Cooperberg furthered his training with a fellowship at State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1988. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Cooperberg practices at Durham Nephrology Associates, with locations in Durham and Oxford, North Carolina. His clinical focus centers on treating chronic kidney disease and kidney disease at various stages, including advanced chronic kidney disease stage 5.
