Dr. Charles L Crist, MD

I’ve seen many doctors all over the country, but only Dr. Crist has been able to help me. I thank him and his staff so much for helping me and my family! This is a horrible disease! But these Christians have prayed with me and for me, because they know, as we all know, that our only hope is in God?? May God Bless them as they work hard to help all who are suffering.

I started seeing Dr Crist 14 plus years ago after seeing many other Doctors and having told them all that I was fatigued and that when I took antibiotics I felt better and my blood pressure went down to normal. Spend at least 25,000 dollars of my money above what the insurance paid None listened to me the last one less than a week before I saw Dr crist she gave me blood pressure pills and antidepressants that never got filled. The following Tuesday I saw Dr crist who did listen and from what I said and the papers I filled out figured out because he had heard it all before he gave me antibiotics and other medicines as well as checked my potassium which was very low.bananas and pills to bring it up. About a month and half later at thanksgiving my blood pressure was right and I felt like I would live. I had decided by what I had read it must be lymes that had been treated for in 1995 had came back Thank God for someone that listened to me. Leo

Dr. Crist will take your money and you’ll be lucky if he ever calls you back about anything- including your prescriptions. He prescribed antibiotics so high for my child that the pharmacist wouldn’t fill it and he wouldn’t call them back for six days. I then began reading the packet of info he gave me. There are some crazy things in there. But if you believe that essential oils and the power of positive thinking will cure your tick bite disease, then by all means pay $450 cash upfront and sign the paper that says you understand that Dr. Crist will treat you in a way that no other doctor would probably agree with. I’m so stupid for signing that and paying upfront. Please people- don’t go to this guy. See a specialist at MU. And please don’t judge Christians by this guy- just because he claims to be one doesn’t mean he is or that he is a good doctor.

This doctor is amazing! He has saved my life! This doctor knows how to diagnose and treat Lyme Disease. Many doctors are 'clueless' when it comes to Lyme. I wish more doctors were like this doctor. He is the best doctor I have ever met! I traveled to see him from New Jersey and I am so glad that I did!

Dr. Charles Crist MD is the best! He has saved my life and has given me the help I need to battle Lyme Disease. I now know why my google search said that he was "the best Lyme doctor in the United States of America". I have been to him many times now and I totally agree.....he is the best! I have never met a doctor like this man. And he really takes the time to understand what is going on with you. He will spend an hour and a half with you on your first visit. How many doctors will do this? I was getting absolutely nowhere going doctor after doctor in N.J. I am so glad that I made the decision to travel out to Missouri to meet this amazing doctor. He diagnosed me with "New England Lyme Disease" on my very first visit. He wrote me so many prescriptions for medicines that I so desperately needed. He even tested my vision and wrote a prescription for some wonderful eye drops. Do I highly recommend Dr. Crist to you.....I think you will agree that he is the best doctor you have ever met.… This doctor is tops!

Dr Charles Crist saved my life he was the only one that found lymes disease after 1 1/2 years of mis diagnosises. great man.

When I first saw Dr Crist I could not spell a 3 letter word. Could not read a sentence & remember the first part of it by the time I got to the end. Couldn't remember if I'd fed our animals. Was so tired that I had to stay close to home & my bed. Glad I had a husband to help me out. After treatment with Dr Crist I have my life back. Since my Lyme is chronic when I feel myself backsliding I start back on treatment.

I question his use of heavy antibiotics. everything is about Money with him, Lots of it

I went to Dr. Crist out of desperation. I have chronic Lyme Disease and Bartonella with mainly serious neurological issues. (I can't walk.) So far he has cost me about $5000 in testing, drugs, and office visits. He charges $900 for an office visit, plus $10 a minute for any follow up, phone consultations, etc. The most annoying thing about his treatment is the fact that NOTHING he does or prescribes is covered by my Medicare insurance. I am on my own with all costs, which are cash up front. No time payments. After only 5 months, he is ready to "throw in the towel", and has insisted I start ultra-expensive IV treatments. They run roughly $6000-8000 per month. I am on a fixed disability income, unable to work or drive, and simply may not be able to afford him much longer without insurance help.

At first he's head heels into getting you fixed. Lyme disease takes years. He is way to expensive! He keeps raising his prices cash only. For someone that says he let's god lead his practice god would help the poor for sure and not let them get sicker because of they can't afford his fee. Is he kind? Yes bit when we have to sell things just to see him it' makes me sad to the core. He won't even talk to you on the phone cause that's charged too. People is dying from this disease everywhere and Noone really cares.
