Dr. Charles Oluqbenqa Famoyin, MD

Dr Famoyin is a very knowledgeable doctor and probably the most caring and compassionate doctor I've ever had.

Dr Famoyin takes time with you to talk and answers all your questions. If you are seeing him and not his assistant you understand if you have to wait. He gives each person the time and care they need not by a time clock.

I first visited Dr. Famoyin in 2009. At that time I was anemic and near death's door. I had seen other Doctors prior to my visit and all they did were tests and more tests with no treatment for my loss of blood and anemia. Dr. Famoyin, after reviewing my medical records and tests, diagnosed an ulcer and started me on iron infusions. I immediately felt better and eventually recovered. Dr. Famoyin is an excellent Doctor who is very caring, thorough and professional in all aspects of his practice. He has an excellent staff of professionals, especially the nurses in the infusion center, lab technicians, and nurse practitioners. I will be forever grateful to Dr Famoyin and his staff for the excellent treatment I received at his facility.

The good doctor spreads himself WAYYY too thin in that he overbooks patients causing great wait times :( He, himself appears to be caring and well read and takes time in talking and asking questions of the patient. The staff appear to be all caught up in what they are doing and themselves. Typical hierarchy of a staff of women in that they dislike caring for other women. If there were a 'negative' rating on 'promptness' in the ratings, I would select MINUS 5.

Waiting time is uncomfortable and much too long. Repeating the same lab work every two weeks seems extensive and expensive. While this physician's manner is caring, he doesn't seem to review what the problem is before the visit.
