Dr. Charles Michael Higgins, MD

I agree that he has sociopath characteristics for how cold and uncaring he was. I will be reporting him for waste due to not receiving any legitimate help from him and having my insurance billed. I was there to receive help not participate in his sadistic argument.

He’s the worst sociopath. One with power and a degree and nobody checking his facility. All the advertisements are false beware. By the time I’m down he will be in jail suspended license or paying a hefty settlement. I hope all 3. I won’t go into alll the details I have a lot federal attorneys on it now

Dismissive and condescending

Celeste Lewis is an awful human being. She is incompetent and has no business writing medications to patients. She is uncaring and just plain rude. People go seeking help not to be looked down upon. She needs to find a new profession because she is horrible at her job. The absolute worst experience I ever had. Stay away from this place.

Dr. Higgins needs to evaluate his staff. His nurse practitioner Celeste Lewis makes judgmental remarks and is disparaging towards her clients. Hardly the personality suited to this profession. His office manager is in equal parts rude and unsympathetic to the paying customers/clients, people who are obviously there because they are IN NEED OF COMPASSION. She is a gatekeeper as well, and will not let you speak with Dr.Higgins or the owner of Legacy. Seek help elsewhere.

I went to Dr. Higgins for years for other mental health meds . After going through some personal devistations in my life I got addicted to opiates . After a few years of going through the addiction I wanted very badly to get clean but realized that I was allergic to naloxon which is one of the active ingredients in suboxon. When I found out the dr.higgins advertises that he prescribes subtext which doesn't contain naloxon I went to him for help and told him that naloxon makes me sick and makes me break out in hives he still prescribes suboxon to me. I paid $500 to Dr. Higgins in hopes that he would help me but his whole staff and he judged me from the first day and refused to listen to me about anything. Opiate addiction is serious and if someone comes to you for help risking themselves financially and not to mention in the future when I get older and need opiates for pain I won't get them, you should defiantly listen to them. This office should not practice opiate addiction care… because of the judgment and the unwillingness to listen or help with the problem.

Too much in a hurry, does not listen, I did not address my concerns because he was not listening.

I love Dr Mike he is so good at getting my medication just right without pushing too many meds. My last doctor had me on 5 different medicines and Dr Higgins got me down to two and I feel great. Changed my life.

I have never been treated by a healthcare professional the way he treated me and I have been an RN for over 15 years. He was very rushed and unprofessional. Very obvious he didn't care and was ready to start his weekend as I was his last appointment on a Friday. During the 10 minutes total that he saw me he asked me two questions only...this was my first ever appointment with him and that is all he wanted to ask to get to know me? I felt like he was bothered by me and that is certainly not the way a patient should be made to feel. He did not even introduce himself when I walked into his office. Not much eye contact as he was writing the entire time and didn't even look up to ask questions. I don't know how he has these good reviews! I am telling you do not waste your time and money!

Dr Higgins is simply the best Dr, in any field that I have ever had. His intelligence and compassion are equal to his ablitiy to listen, resulting in a person born to help others. His empathy and understanding are an asset rarely seen in most of the Money Hoovers who practice medicine like cattle farms. Should you choose Dr Higgins as your Dr, you will find that he goes above and beyond average duty to assist you. I confidently recommend him.
