Dr. Charles Wallace Kent, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Kent's since I was in my late teens when his office was located in Quincy. I am now in my 50's. He has such a great bedside manner, talks to his patients as they were his family and has demonstrated great concern for me and my family over the years. I love him and everyone in his practice. The office staff treat us like family as well, generally concerned for our well-being.

I was referred to Dr. Charles Ken as someone who was great with Migraines. When I called, I would told the treatment would be $200 out of pocket and my insurance would not cover. They never even ran my insurance to find out. I have received Migraine treatment in the past that my insurance covered with only a co-pay. This seems like a scam to me.

I reached out to the number listed for the Headache clinic and was told they are no longer associated with them. Instead, was referred the Dr. Charles Kent. Dr. Charles Kent's office told me that migraine treatment is not covered by insurance and the cost would be $200. They did not even run my insurance to find out my coverage. I would consider the a scam as I have had migraine treatments before that were covered under my insurance. I was simply looking for a different doctor as my previous one had no success preventing even half of my chronic migraine.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DR. KENT FOR 20+ YEARS. HE IS A BLESSING TO HAVE AS A PHYSICIAN

The office staff are horrible at communicating with the patients regarding the status of the authorization for procedures from insurance companies. They're constantly telling you that they'll call you and never do. When you call them, they say "I was just about to call you". They've lost my records in the past and had to run test over again. I'm very disappointed with their lack of communication and concern with an vascular issue I've been dealing with for years. They don't want to help me so I'm going to see someone else that will at least put forth an effort.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kents for close to 20 years. He is compassionate and takes the time to listen to what is going on. Those are big selling points with me in choosing a Dr. He is an awesome Dr.
