Dr. Mayes is good at what he does just don’t expect a good bedside manor. If you have questions don’t expect well explained answers. God forbid if you question why he’s doing something. He treated me like a second class citizen & like I was way beneath him & he didn’t need to explain anything to us. Then we got another cardiologist and Mayes office continued to deny many requests by us and the new cardiologist for the records of what was done during the hospital visit. More than 10 requests were sent for files it ended up taking over a week to get our files. I would never recommend this Doctor to anyone.

We love dr mayes when he was in panama city florida. Now we live in Pensacola fl and if he took My ins I'd go back to him in a heart beat. He is my hero ps we don't oyster any more .

poor communication with nurses/staff, no follow up after procedure. A talented physician with good recommendations but leaves a poor impression for no follow up.

Had two stents for my left and right legs. First Dr. was able to do one but not both. Mayes had no difficulty in placing stent for leg other doctor had failed.Have also heard many positive comments from professionals and others for period Mayes was in Panama City, FL

Dr. Mayes is a very caring doctor. He listens to his patients. If it had not being for him, and taking my symptoms seriously I would not be here today. I owe my life to him.
