Dr. Nelson is an excellent surgeon. I was very happy with my hip replacement experience. Going back for the other one without fear.

Nice person had a knee revison had nothing but pain and swelling had bone scans MRI and X-rays he was unable to determine cause went on for over 2 yrs found another doctor looked at X-rays in minutes he Sean that upper lower pins loose and parts were not glued he must not be able to read a X-ray

Had double knee surgery with no swelling and he was excellent with infection control...had none. I'm shocked how wonderful my surgery went. I'm only 43 and I have health issues and this is the best thing I ever did and I am 3 weeks out walking around. He was truly a blessing to me!

Dr. Nelson has replaced both my hips and my knee with excellent outcomes. For years, I put off what I thought was surgery for my bad football knee. After seeing Dr. Nelson, I discovered I had also "ruined' my hips getting by with pain and years of limping. Now my hips feel better than when I was in HS and the knee is also seeing a good outcome. Dr. Nelson uses the best implant and not just the one that a doctor has a contract with. He took time to really study my situation and make the best recommendations. I would fly across country to see him. He's the best and the office staff most responsive. He did my surgery right the first time rather than having to redo someone else's mistakes. Thanks Dr. Nelson for giving me back life I had been missing!!!

Dr. Nelson was my saving grace, he intervened and did a total revision on my R-knee. He went above and beyond when no other surgeons would see me. I will be forever grateful for his compassion and excellent care. I don't know what I would have done without his care. I only wish I had seen Dr. Nelson for my initial knee replacement, but I am so thankful that Dr. Nelson was willing to address my medical issues and did what was necessary to get me to where I am now. Its a sad state that Dr. Nelson has to spend so much of his time correcting other surgeons mistakes. I cannot put into words what this wonderful man has done for me. Again, THANK YOU!

Dr. Nelson has a very nice manner and he replaced my knee with the utmost of care. I enjoy him as my doctor.

Dr Nelson performed a total hip replacement for me, and while I have no complaints about his proficiency, his post surgery follow-up visits left me cold! He barely spent 5 minutes in the office each time I visited. My attemps at asking any questions about MY body were met with contempt..."How DARE you ask me any questions! I have healed you...now be gone!!' (He didn't say these things, but they were implied). I have never met a doctor so arrogant and dismissive! I have to get my other hip replaced now, and am searching for another doctor. Dr Nelson will NEVER have the chance to mistreat me again! I'll send my health insurance money to another doctor's Deserving pocket

Dr, Nelson was professional and did very well explaining and helping me understand what was to be expected. The surgery went without a hitch , and I was walking with my new hip without a cane in 1 month!
