Dr. Charles E Parker, DO

The staff is rude and the doctor does not listen to anything you say. It seems he spends much of the time talking himself up. After I questioned one of his policies he abandoned me as a patient and called me horrible names. He obviously has a very fragile ego and I think he is in the wrong business. He clearly needs therapy. I think he should be disciplined a fourth time

I don’t have any problem with Dr Parker but the office is so bad that I was very surprise the last time I was there .The receptionist was actually sweet and polite. Just when I was planning never to go back. Aside from that they also gave me a letter saying that if I kept going pass my 3 month I would have to go see them every month. Now I understand their not giving me partial prescriptions and making me wait until I see them, but telling me they’ll make me go every month , I found very offensive for two reasons : I’m not a child and they don’t have the right to try to control me . Who ever wrote or writes the letters has a control issue and needs to deal with it. Either that or has a superiority complex. The letter or note has the same tone as many of the receptionist do. Disrespectful as if the people that are seeing the psychiatry don’t have any idea about what they are doing. They also have to remember that there are many other psychiatry offices and clinic . You… can do without me , but I can also definitely do without you. We are not going there for free , we are paying. Th receptionists have to realize that at the end of the day they are getting pay by the patient .No patient ,no need for receptionist and no job for them. I also don’t think it helps any if who ever checks the reviews instead of checking the receptionist actitud and their own , just denies everything . I have been going there for over 6 years and taking it all trying to be patience, but again I couldn’t believed the letter they gave me , as if I’m a poor person in some kind of welfare and they my only option. I like Dr Parker and Loyola and will like to stay with them but if I feel the need to find a different clinic I will.

Vitals.com is a scam that let's any idiot write about anything they want and publish it without any ability to address the reviews and claims of anyone who types up anything they want. They sold out their ownership to WebMD so all contact information is wrong and inactive. So since WebMD are now the owners you would think that you could contact them. No phone number is listed and they do not respond to emails. This whole system is a fraud

This doctor for one had a 2 million dollar lawsuit against him for ignoring a patient's diagnosis, failing to get medical history, and prescribing his own treatment plan which lead to the patient's suicide. He did the same to me. He never got my medical history and also decided to prescribe his own treatment which lead to deterioration of my mental state. He is not available enough or accessible to patients. His receptionist tries to give medical advice in place of getting the doctor. They are uncooperative and uncaring. They just want your money for vitamins. I could have died under this doctors care.

Dr. Parker and his staff have provided me with specialized care that has helped me improve my life. The Dr. along with his staff and counselors are a first rated team that seem to really care about their patients. I'd recommend Dr. Parker and his team to anyone.

Dr. Parker is a brilliant scientist, but his doctoring skills could use some work. He helped my autistic son overcome some biomedical issues but we were never able to get a handle on his behaviors or attention problems. His time and attention to our son was minimal and at times he would mix us up with other patients and couldn't even remember who we were! He was nice to our son, but very dismissive, never taking the time to talk to him and learn who he is. The worst part by far was his office staff. They are inexperienced, rude, and incompetent. It would take several phone calls and emails to get a response from them and important things like prescriptions would get forgotten about. Based on that alone I would have a difficult time recommending him.

Dr. Parker has seen both of my children and has taken every opportunity to make sure that they both get the very best care possible. We have followed his protocol and it has changed their lives! I can not recommend him enough. He is caring, is highly educated and wants to share his knowledge with his patients in order to help them. He treats every patient as an individual. For those who have stated that he is non-caring and an ego maniac, I have to wonder if they saw the same doctor that we we see, because nothing if farther from the truth.

This man needs professional help! He is a total ego maniac who spends half of your 15 minutes talking about himself!!! He doesn't even know the names of his employees and he treats everyone like crap. It's no wonder his license is in jeopardy so often.

I saw Dr. Parker on the recommendation of a family member. I was in crisis, at age 67! I learned he is a well-known neuroscientist. I am very happy to be treated by a scientist, rather than a lock-step M.D.! I understand that Dr, Parker is in the fast lane, doing a million things to discover and communicate how the brain functions. I would not expect a man with his resume to be kind or attentive, but he is both. He expected me to be an active participant in my treatment/recovery. His assistant, Desiree, is as pleasant and helpful as can be. Dr. Parker's testing, prescriptions, and supplements have brought me back to life. I am most grateful.

My husband has been out of the military for 9 years and has struggled with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and Sleeping. He tossed and turned all night, woke up grumpy, was anxious to the point of having a panic attack at social functions. After a few appointments at Parker, Schlichter and Associates, he isn't 100 percent better, but his mood, anxiety, and my urge to strangle him (j/k) has gotten better. We went to the first social function since him being on the medication and he was able to stay 2 hours! I know that doesn't seem like much to other people, but for him that is a miracle. We are so happy with Dr. Parker and his staff. The staff is courteous and always nice.
