Dr. Charles Scott Patton, MD

Dr. Scott Patton has excellent people skills. Always greets you with a smile and makes you feel comfortable. He is very thorough and has excellent analysis skills so he is able to determine quickly how to proceed. Not afraid to reccommend several options when a specialist is needed. I was fortunate growing up to have had excellent old school GP's that demonstrated that they really care about you and your family. Dr. Patton is from that school. He keeps up with technology and medical literature. All of the nurses are friendly and healthful. Again, excellent doctor and highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Patton has a great bedside manner and seems to care for his patients, however just because a Dr. is nice doesn't mean he knows what he is doing. He lets personal opinions get in the way of accurate clinical decision making. I would not recommend him. He's great as long as you don't question his "authority". He doesn't follow up so he errors in judgement because he doesn't have his facts.

Don't be mislead by Dr. Patton's short time in professional practice. He is extremely thorough during the examination process and often follows up with laboratory tests in confirmation of his initial finding. With the Laboratory on site this is extremely convenient in that there is no cross town trek to the hospital for testing purposes. Dr. Patton concludes a diagnosis prior to prescribing a method of recovery. He leaves nothing to guess which is very reassuring. In addition, his bedside manner is nothing less than stellar in that ample time is spent with each patient. Dr. Patton shows CONCERN for the patient and the well-being of the patient. It's old school medicine by a young and very well trained physician. I live in another state and found Dr. Patton during an job assignment in Shreveport and I can honesty say that I will purposely travel to Shreveport just for an office visit.
