Molly H. Maranto, PA

Molly H. Maranto, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who practices at Willis Knighton’s North Shreveport Family Medicine. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Centenary College and later pursued a degree in physician assistant studies at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. Maranto became certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 2004.

As a primary care provider, Maranto’s work includes examination of patients, ordering and interpreting lab tests and diagnostic studies, developing and implementing treatment plans, as well as in-office surgical procedures. Her clinical interests are family medicine, women’s health, urgent care, dermatology and psychiatry. 

Maranto’s philosophy of care is to serve her patients well, which aligns with her commitment to lifelong learning, integrity and attention to detail. Outside the clinic, Maranto likes going to concerts, traveling and watching the Dallas Cowboys with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading, watching movies, cooking and playing with her pets.
