Extremely creepy, zero therapeutic value to the time spent in his office. I was lectured about the “intimate and very close” bond we would be having together on my “cancer journey” He whispered weird things and lingered over my breast exam while telling me about what he had done the night before. As a cancer patient- I am horrified by his behavior. I thought the first visit he might have just been off or perhaps I had been upset and overreacted- but the second visit was WORSE. This man is a predator and I reported him to the hospital and I hope I can help prevent other women from having to undergo the major distress and trauma this “oncologist” caused to me. He’s not on your side, ladies. Please watch out. He called my phone incessantly and gave me chocolate. I had breast cancer and needed medical advice- not a boyfriend.

You hear the words that you have Cancer. The best thing that can happen to you next is to find out your oncologist is Dr. Charles Shapiro. Lets face it - none of us want to have cancer, but if you do end up with it you want Dr. Shapiro. He is kind, thoughtful, brilliant, admired by his peers, and he will give you as much time as you need in his office. He is cancers worst enemy, and your best hope!
