After my newborn spent a couple days in NICU, the NICU doctor told me to make a ped appt in 4 days. When I called Dr Shaw's office for an appt, the recpetionist insisted I come in the next day. I refused and the receptionist told me that my children are no longer patients of that office! Merely because I wouldn't come in when she insisted. I even told her that I didn't have a ride to the office since I can't drive. This is bullying, and it was contrary to the what the NICU doctor recommended! Very disappointing and very disturbing behavior.

I have been with Dr. Shaw for 8.5 years and have never has a bad experience. He is amazing, calm, and knowledgeable. He makes sure you never have a worry and never over exaggerates.

They are very nice and open to questions. They try very hard to make you confortable and talk to you so your not nervous. They are very good at figuring out whats wrong and getting you fixed up as soon as posiible. Great doctor!!! Highly highly recoomended!!

LOVE this doctor for my kids! He will take whatever time you need to talk to him about your kids. I have NEVER been rushed in or out. Also, when my kids have been in the hospital he has checked on them every morning and night. Can't say enough GOOD things about this caring doctor!

Dr. Shaw is very kind, and the nurses are so sweet and gentle. Unfortunately, the secretaries in the office are quite the opposite. I can call all day during their business hours and even have repeat dialing call me back when the line becomes available and it doesnt until almost 4:30 and then when I call no one answers. They must be taking the phone off the hook because it just rings busy and doesnt even go to voicemail. Its extremely frustrating when my daughter is ill and I need an appointment. I dont know her name but the secretary I usually talk to is very condescending and rude. I love Dr Shaw- I think he's the best in Mansfield, but if I cant reach him, whats the point?
