Dr. Charles Scott Termin, MD

Very hard for me not to put a positive review about this provider. Such an amazing provider, very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very detailed (extremely). As a woman, choosing the right obgyn can be challenging and you want to make sure they are professional and knowledgeable when it comes to your reproductive system, Dr. Turmin displays all of the above. Once I was finally was comfortable with him, I was dismissed from the practice without warning. I called to follow up in regards to a concern that we were watching and the office staff stated that I could not schedule. When asked why they stated that I had been dismissed due to no-shows. I spoke with the office manager and she stated that the dismissal came from the doctor, I highly doubt that. I asked her is there anyway that we could reinstate me as a patient and she said no the doctor wouldn’t allow it. I asked her was the policy in the initial paperwork and she said she didn’t know. I asked her how can I follow policy… that I was unaware of and she didn’t seem to have an answer for me. As a private paying patient such policies and procedures should be informed to you upfront so you the companies expectations in adavance. The appointment that caused me to be dismissed was actually a reschedule for the same day in which the doctor was still able to produce and collect my insurance as well as my co-pay. This re-schedule was recommended by the front desk due to me running 10 minutes late. It just baffles me that such strict policies and procedures are in place and not inform to the paying patient. It’s unfortunate because she stated that the doctor dismissed me, they create the letters and have the doctor sign off. Saying the doctor actually dismissed you himself was not the right thing to say. I apologize that I’m so passionate about this but again as a woman you want to make sure you have the best provider is in place and by far Dr. Termin has been the best OB/GYN that Ive come across and I’m just very upset about this. I mean honestly no one made a big deal when he went on his sabbatical leave and I had to see my primary care physician. I waited because he is who i trusted with my health. I’m just very very very upset about this. All I’m saying is don’t build a relationship here, it can end without warning.

As a healthy young female, I have struggled for years to find a primary care doc who I could develop a relationship with due to my infrequent visits. I saw Dr. Termin the entire duration of my pregnancy and still see him for routine visits. Dr. Termin cares about his patients. He wants to have relationships with each patient, taking the time to talk about prior visit health concerns, how family is doing, etc. I am also pleased that Dr. Termin is well-seasoned and is knowledgeable in every healthcare specialty I have discussed with him. He does not draw the line at OB/GYN. Today, I had a visit and we discussed all things medical and he completed a physical exam, then we talked about my family/his family, the upcoming holiday, etc. He remembers things about my family from visit to visit. Additionally, Dr. Termin and his staff are great at following through after the visit - prescriptions are sent quickly, lab results are reported quickly, and sometimes they call just to check in… regarding a recent visit. Dr. Termin also encourages open communication and encourages patients to call with questions/concerns. I enjoy seeing Dr. Termin because he is a compassionate, intelligent physician. The office staff are great as well. I will not go elsewhere!

Dr. Termin listens, and you don't feel like you're being rushed in and out of office visits. He provides excellent surgery aftercare, and you feel like he actually cares, while maintaining the Dr/Patient relationship. I would recommend to anyone in need of an OB/GYN, especially for a surgical procedure (he's experienced in the Da Vinci robotic surgery with a quicker recovery time).
