I would recommend hime to anyone that asks. Very helpful throughout this stressful process. He was extremely knowledgable about anything and everything I had a question about, and I felt comfortable with him. Overall, nice guy and even better doctor.

Chose Dr Ternent because we heard he was the best in omaha from a colorectal nurse (they did not work for Dr Ternent). After meeting him we felt confident every step of the way, he took time to explain in detail, very personable and after surgery spent quality time with the family explaining exactly what he did. Everyone in Dr. Ternents office was pleasant, understanding and empathized with all our concerns and questions. Highly recommend Dr. Ternent or anyone in this office.

I am an ICU nurse and this is one of the best surgeons I've met. When my son reached the end with UC, we chose Dr. Ternent to do his colectomy. His work was meticulous, near perfection. He is thoughtful and compassionate.

I've been dealing with colon problems for over 30 yrs which finally required a coloectomy. This doctor is one of the best I have ever had. Believe me, I've seen numerous GI physicians over the years! I highly recommend ... he knows what he's talking about.

Dr Ternent has treated two members of our family. He has always been professional and very thorough. He explains procedures very well. He has been our doctor for several years. He is very kind and listens well. We are very comfortable with him. We don't hesitate to recommend him.

First off, I saw Dr. Ternent over a period of about 5 months. Every time I had an appointment with him, he would bring a student along with him into the patient room, even though I told him on three separate occasions that I don't feel comfortable with them in the room. He would also conduct the patient-doctor-private conversation while the nurse and the student were in the room. Making answering the questions extremely uncomfortable. When I had surgery, I had to request another appointment to actually have the doctor tell me what he was going to do. He just expected me to come in the day of surgery, without any idea of what was happening. He is very impersonal with the patients and talks to you like you have dollars signs floating around your head, he then tells you to schedule another appointment so he can collect yet more money from you. It's also extremely difficult to get an appointment, every time I had to schedule one they would be a month and a half out. I would HIGHLY… recommend not going to this doctor.

If you have real problems, this is the guy you want. Staff and other MDs at this practice are all dedicated medical professionals.
