Dr. Charles A Tollett JR., MD

Was in ER earlier that week went to my Dr had ultra sound on Thurs. Came to find out my gallbladder was bad.Dr. Tollet came in to my room later after they admitted me and ask what was going on told him the story and he pushed around on my stomach. Dr To let pushed in the wrong spot and I said I wouldn't do that again if I were you. Dr. chuckled and said that angry thing needs to come out of there and we are going to get it out. Overall very good Dr. With a dry sense of humor.

Dr. Charles A. Tollett Jr MD. is an egotistical jerk who caters to those who fit his criteria of a patient worthy of his help. He DID NOT become a doctor to help people. And I would fervently oppose the idea of supporting this man in way. And would strongly suggest to anyone to avoid going to this Doctor at all costs. I am absolutely appalled by this mans behavior. I had a family member, who after this point will be referred to as the patient, and spouse(to be there for the patient and unfortunately a witness to Dr. Tollett's behavior) go to him for an issue after being referred by the family doctor for a surgery. He was condescending and rude, but the surgery was done and we were glad to have him behind us. A couple years later a new issue arrises with said patient, and was once again referred to Dr. Tollett. Not looking forward to dealing with this man again but was hoping he could help the patient made an appointment. The patient has had multiple forms of imaging done on the… issue, MRI, CAT scan, X-ray, and others all of the doctors, nurses, and technicians involved have felt the issue marked where the imaging needs to be taken and we still don't know what the problem is. But it is causing the patient increasing amounts of pain and discomfort. Dr. Tollett made the patient, who is already concerned about what people think and the money their spending trying to figure out what the problem is, feel like an idiot and made ridiculous accusations and absurd suggestions, completely disregarding the facts that you can feel something there and the pain it causes.

Dr Tolett saved my life and I will forever be grateful!

A family member went septic, was placed in a drug induced coma for 3 weeks and almost died because this "doctor" did not address the failed colon resectiion performed by this person. This person is at best, ignorant of symptoms of a colon resection seperation or at worst, dismissive of in your face and obvious symptoms of a resection failure. He ordered NO tests for this family member. Treated this person with antibiotics only. A friend with a completely blocked colon was treated with pain meds. She would be diagnosed by another surgeon with a cancerous tumor that was blocking Her colon. STAY away from this "doctor". If I could, I wouldn't even give him one star. So much for the AMA policing its own.

no sympathy, rude, in a hurry, inconsiderate, hateful doctor, felt like i had been mutilated. asked him to stop cause the pain was unbareable. he wouldnt stop. after the procedure he smiled and the nurse kind of laughed and said i didnt know he was going to do that with you awake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rude and will never go back there even if im about to die

Kind caring talented physician with a wonderful bedside manor. Does not get in a hurry. Answers all your questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him.

Recommended a Lower GI. I did, the nurses in the operating room gave him the insight to where my polyps were at. Found 3 and one on Colon. I went in for a follow up. I had to ask if polyp was cancer or not. Sad, should of been the first thing he informed me about. I still had some issues with my IBS and cramping. He the doctor asked me what I wanted to do. I said your the doctor you tell me. He said when u decide what u what to do let me know. I said you wld be the last Doctor I call. My opinion, stay clear from this doctor. If a doctor asks you what u want to do I question if he is even morally or capable of doing any surgery.

He's easy to get into because he doesn't have many patients. Doesn't tell you what your test results were that would have required protective measures by the nursing staff. Nurse found the diagnosis on the chart. Misdiagnosed a lump. Absolutely NO followup.
