Dr. Charles Ernest Toulson, MD

I've had two prior knee surgeries that didn't fear very well. Each one making things worse. The first time Meeting Dr. Toulson he knew just by looking at my x-rays. Dr. Toulson had to do a revision for me and a tendon repair. Since surgery I've been in a lot less pain and able to do a lot of the things I wasn't able to do before surgery and gaining more each day. I would recommend him and his team 10 out 10

Toulson made my replaced leg longer and made my life a living hell. He kept saying the difference was not significant. I finally went to my PCP and he ordered a scanogram. Then my NEW ortho ordered a standing x-ray. My leg is almost .7 inches longer. Please note that Toulson NEVER stated he had to lengthen my leg to add stability. He kept saying all looked fine in the xrays and, if anything, the new leg looked shorter. Incompetent is too nice a word to describe him. He botched the surgery and butchered my hip. Toulson also dismissed my pain and implied I was not allowing myself to heal and maybe needed an antidepressant. I've needed shots to my SI joint, piriformis, and lower back due to the amount of pain and inflammation this discrepancy continues to cause. I'm still in physical therapy 17 months post surgery. I've spent thousands of dollars and countless hours trying to find a way to be comfortable. Read the reviews in OTHER sites and look for leg length issues. Apparently,… he's known for leaving legs too long. Do NOT get your hip replaced by this "doctor" unless you want your life ruined. *There's no way to give a 0, though in reality, the review should be -5.

After waiting over 2 hours I was told I needed a third replacement. First one done by Dr Snow, second by Toulson. He threw my X-rays across the room and asked what I wanted from him.

Dr. Toulson is one of the most gracious doctors I've ever met. He's organized, thorough, and excellent at his specialty of robotic knee surgery! I will have my 3 month anniversary from total knee replacement tomorrow and I'm zipping around like the good old days! Thank you, Dr. Toulson, for giving me back the ability to keep up with my Grandkids! You're the BEST! Shayla Bell

Dr. Toulson is a very kind, smart and respectful man who believes in taking care of his patients. I can honestly say that i'm glad that my father referred me to him. Dr. Toulson is the best!!!!

I am a 53 yr old male, that is now 1 1/2 years post op bilateral hip replacement, and I am very pleased with my outcome. Dr Toulson came highly recommended from my primary physician which I highly respect, (he performed an operation on my primary physicians family member as well), and I can honestly say I wish I would have done it at least 3-5 years sooner !!! Dr Toulson tolerated my inquisitive nature, answered all questions and encouraged me to take my time committing to a major surgery. When the pain management no longer works, and you want to reclaim mobility and your life style, I would trust Dr Toulson to restore lost mobility wrt total hip replacement.

This man has ruined my wife's leg! The hip operation was botched and now he has sent here to a nerve specialist because he said it was nerve damage! Guess what, no nerve damage it was your mistake and own up to it! My wife was very active before all of this and now she is in so much pain because of this man!

12-5-17 TKR/R knee. Returned 3-15-18, ultrasound, fluid build up/seroma. Returned 3-26-18, PA refused to look at knee, upon my own inspection, infection was coming out of the incision site. No follow up. No medication.

Most physicians today after major will not give you personal attention. The norm today is the P.A. that totally takes over after surgery. That's the main difference with Dr Charles Toulsen.He is continues to Give Personal Attention After Surgery.
