Dr. Charles Gibbs Vasey, MD

I saw Dr. Vasey because I had been referred by the local ER for further testing, etc. The visit began very well with a knowledgeable and professional nurse and MA. They took the time to get all the information ready for the doctor to review. When Dr. Vasey came in, he sat down, looked at me and said, "well?" It went downhill from there. Tried to tell him about the chest flutters I experience, no response at all. The biggest surprise was when he told me I am obese and a potential candidate for weight loss surgery. I wear a size 10 petite women's pants! Granted, I am only 5 feet tall. He said he was sure I also snored, even though I told him otherwise and seemed disappointed that I would not let him refer me to the sleep clinic. He is awkward and condescending to talk to. As I was checking out, he sent the sleep clinic brochure out to me. Here I was thinking he is a cardiologist. Will not go back to him!

My husband had trouble with afib called Dr Vassey 24 hrs no return call going to get a new Dr this is no way to treat patients after i have been a patient for 10 yrs!!!
