Dr. Danny Floyd Andrews, MD

While practicing in Chicago, while my wife was being told that she was having a nervous breakdown, because the specialist could not figure out what my wife was suffering from, per the nurses in his office had 3 stacks of medical journals six feet high and diagnosed that my wife was suffering from Vasculitis years before most doctors had ever heard of vasculitis. I only wish he was still practicing in Chicago, as my wife and I miss him every time we have to go to the doctors office, because no other doctor has come close to the bar that was set by Dr. Andrews.

Dr. Andrews has been a very caring physician and I have felt very comfortable with his diagnosis. He has been my doctor for the past two years and has recently retired. He will be missed.

This is without a doubt the rudest doctor I have ever been to. "I don't understand" was also used quite a bit during my visit and he actually asked me "So what's the problem" after I fully explained my situation. Will not be going back to this man.

I went for first visit for a new pcp. I went to all of the spec. I see to get him all of my records as the recp suggested he would want. When I went to my appt. he had nothing. Everything I tried to tell him about my past medical history,his response was "I don't understand.". He was very cold and rude.He did not listen or care. No personality. Maybe he had a bad day,but I cried before I left his office and continued to search for a dr. that would at least listen. I was a number, not a person.I did no go back for follow up.

Felt as through this doctor was aggravated with me during each visit. Does not take the time to listen!! Due to the confrontational nature during my office visits I felt as if I was not heard nor were my concerns taken seriously.
