I have been a patient of Dr. Vonder Embse for over 30 years and he gets my vote for being the most competent, courteous, through, and patient family practice physician in the state of Ohio. He not only treat the patient's problem/symptom/issue, he treats the patients based on their individual profile.

The physician is very knowledgable and well known in other hospital. Dr charles is very patient, kind and cares about all ethic groups of his patients. He helped me with my blood clot disorder issue and i will always be grateful for his wonderful caring heart. His family team is also awesome. Thanks Doc:)

I've been a patient of his for years and have always felt like he was simply putting a band-aid on my issues rather than fixing them. He never took the time to really talk to me and he NEVER addressed all of my issues. Every visit was extremely impersonal. When first becoming a patient with him after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia and him putting me on different medications and me taking them for YEARS, because my HUSBAND missed an appointment (due to worker's comp issues) the doctor refused to give me any more of my medication. When I asked why, as I've been there for years and it's never been an issue before, I was given an extreme attitude and hung up on. I do NOT recommend this "doctor" to anyone that has real health issues!
