Dr. Charles W Welly, DO

Has no compassion towards my boyfriend’s pain. My boyfriend went to him for fractured ribs and he swore there was none and did absolutely nothing. Told him to take ibuprofen and Tylenol for a hydrocodone effect. My boyfriend let him know he’s having digestive issues because of that and he told him he can only focus on one thing at a time. Went to the er and they found at least 3 different fractures. Tried again And I went with him this time. My boyfriend tried introducing me and his response was ‘oh.’ Then went on that he has six things wrong with him, where do you want me to start. Just a complete attitude. We kept our composure but in the end he won and kicked us out of his room and we’re looking for a new dr.

This “Doctor” failed to diagnose my Father with Parkinson’s. This Man should not be practicing medicine Please don’t trust your health to this person

I have recently switched to Dr. Welly. He was the doctor that reviewed my sister's MRI and told her she was dying of cancer. She hadn't been to a doctor in 50 years. She really liked him so I got an appointment with him. I had been taking care of her and was suffering with terrible back pain and other symptoms that several medical people said it sounds like shingles but never followed up on. I even ended up in the ER and they send me home with pain killers and said they didn't know what it was. He put me on acyclavair and I immediately was pain free. I had internal shingles with no rash. I was able to get an appointment right away and not have to wait months. The only thing that was negative was the wait in the office but when I got in to see him I realized it was because he spent so much time with each patient. Something that has been lost in these times. I am willing to wait because he is worth it.

I am a new patient with Dr. Charles Welly. In my opinion, he is great and he "listens"

I don't mind waiting for Dr. Welly because he does not rush me through. He takes time to listen to me and to explain things to me so that I understand my conditions and my options. He doesn't sugar-coat anything either. I may not like what he tells me, but he's honest and forthright with his explanations.

Insane amount of time waiting to be called! He was a very brash and at time down right rude manner. He hardly ever smiles, and when he takes the time to "deal" with you... let's just say he's not a likeable guy. Or maybe I should note how he's VERY condescending. He acts like he wants nothing to do with you, and that you being there and paying $140 or more (without insurance) is a bother to him. He is the rudes, nastiest, most insufferable little man I've ever had the misforfune of meeting. Someone as miserable a person as he is aught to just retire, but I think he stays in business so his son can work as a PA under him. His son, Nathan, is extremely incompetent but at times polite. I suspect the Nathan takes more after his mother in personality. However, the kid is still rather incompetent. No matter whom you see, you can expect to wait a long time to be seen. And you always have to take the initiative and spell things out for these people, as they hardly ever do what they say their… going to do. I once spoke to DR in person, arranged a script to be picked up for myself, and still it wasn't there when I came in. The staff told me it was my fault for not making sure it was there with repeated phone calls! Freaking ridiculous. Whomever reads this, do yourself a big favor and try to see a doctor in Phoenix if you can. Most of the doctors in these small towns are total quakes, and Welly is just one more sorry excuse for human being and physician. If you do see him, after dealing with him and his son and his staff... you'll quickly grow to loath these people. They are that unprofessional and at times unpleasant.

I credit him with saving my child's life. He's a great Doctor.

Has saved my life Three (3) times great Doctor Knows what he is doing and has graet diagnostic skills.

i have been seeing this Same Dr since i was 18 years old i am now 23 he is rude his staff is rude and he miss diagnoses people the only person in that office i never had a problem with was his son i have now switched Dr,s i have been in and out of the ER because of having Allergy's to meds that he has put me on if u are going to him i would Switch Dr,s SOON
