Dr. Charles Todd Woolley, MD

Dr. C. Todd Wooley is perhaps the best Upper Extremity surgeon Portland Oregon has to offer. He is intuitive, besides his being a clinical expert in the field of Upper Extremity Orthopedics. He was my second opinion, and helped me understand the risk, and more importantly, the alternative surgical choices that I had. I am grateful that I found him.

I injured my hand at work so many times I forgot how many. Dr wooley rebuilt my hand ,fingers and wrist so I could continue work. He is the best really.

Was referred out to see a specialist for suspected carpal tunnel - but when I had my appointment with Dr. Woolley, he did no examination, hardly asked any questions, spent more time complaining about the clinic that gave my referral than discussing my issue. He said my options were a cortisone shot or doing outside testing. I didn't want treatment without verifying what the problem actually is, so I opted for the testing. I was told I'd be contacted by the external clinic to schedule by the end of the week - that never happened. Not returning to this doctor or pursuing their lab referral, I'll go somewhere more professional.

Probably the best doctor I've been to see. He's very skilled surgeon, and actually cares about his patients. He did a really good job fixing up my hand. I would go to see him again in a heartbeat if needed.

Woolley, is completely unfit! Dr. Material. He 100% wrecked my complete hand wrist! When I was heavily Drugged on surgery tsble- Woolley asked such inappropriate questions. I regret not trying to get up run away, out of there! Now I have a new dr. Who is top notch. He's going to attempt to make me less painful., With a proper correctly done surgery

Dr W. did surgeries on 2 of my other Dr's hands which speaks volumes. He knows what he is doing in the upper extremities. I had a very complicated dislocation, with torn ligaments, and he was able to put it all back into place without an open surgery. I have full range of motion. A friend of mine had an even worse injury a month before, and has had an amazing recovery. He is who you want to see with any hand, elbow, etc injury. It can be an interesting experience, but he knows his stuff. Seriously.

I had made an appointment to have an X ray and to find out what was wrong with my finger that I had injured trying to open a plastic container. His office told me I needed an X ray. His assistant put the apron for X ray on me and then took me to wait in the X ray room for Dr. Woolley. The Dr. came in yanked the apron off me , grabbed my finger and bent it down real hard and said you need to have a cast put on it--so go to therapy. He did not ask how I had injured it and did not ask me anything--just got up and left. This was all after the 35 min. wait. I had kept my finger straight for the week or so before I could see him and in a splint. It had probably begun to heal. Now my therapy is taking longer than ever because he re-injured it. I would never see this man again, nor recommend him to anyone. Thank you.

Worst doctor I have ever had. I was experiencing some pain and wasn't sure if it was job related or not so I decided to go to him as he's close to my house and had decent reviews. Burst in the office and just started in on me about how I need to figure out if this is workers' compensation related or not. I tried to explain that that's what I was here for but he spoke over me, barely gave me the time of day and was more interested in getting paid. His staff seemed quite a bit unprofessional. Singing an inappropriate song in the hallway, gave me WC forms to fill out which I did and then billed my normal insurance instead of follow-up w/ me to find out about my claim number and such. Will NEVER utilize this doctor ever.
