Dr. Charles Stephen Woolums, MD

My husband and I both see Dr. Woolums and are very pleased with his knowledge and treatments. My husband had a Urolift with great outcome, and virtually no pain. I have several problems, he has treated my stones, but also has performed minor procedures. He also has performed major surgery. Our daughter had a kidney transplanted from her father. So we have seen many urologists and nephrologist many quacks, and many very incompetent and many in our own city. We were so pleased to have Dr Woolums come to our town and we knew some of the Doctors he trained under. We have traveled over the country and we have seen some of the best. Our daughter lived 20 years longer than we were told, only because we found the best Doctors. Locally Dr. Collins a nephrologist and Dr. Woolums are the best in this little town. We are blessed to have them.

I found him kind and knowledgeable

My diagnosis changes from one appt to the next, gets very hostile when questioned as to why he can’t stick with a diagnosis, LIED TO MY FAMILY ABOUT ME BEING IN PAIN. He a jerk and I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to see this so called doctor.

Best doctor ever. Had my surgery no pain no problems. He is very caring and answers all your questions and concerns.

I have always been satisfied with the care given by this physician. His approach is always reflective and polite. I didn't expect to lecture him on the practice of Urology nor should I. Otherwise I could have treated myself and my primary care physician would not have referred me for treatment if this were the case.

This doctor is the worse doctor I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. He is very rude, makes inappropriate comments, refuses to listen to you, and does things his way without taking any advice from the patient. His partner, Dr. Wyner, is MUCH better.

I am a younger patient and I have bladder issues Dr. Woolums is friendly and and he really cares about his patients. Unlike most Dr . He takes his time to talk to you. I would highly recommend him.

Had to have prostate biopsy and his office contacted me afterhours ASAP to reassure that indeed I was negative for prostate cancer. He then put me in line to have a procedure called a UroLift which nearly eliminated the need to get up during the night to void the bladder. I did experience significant pain when my case was found to require catheterization and blood clots developed. That was nearly 2 weeks ago and I've fully recovered. I now fully appreciate the value of this repair but sure wished I'd been just a little better educated to deal with those clots.

I would really and truly recommend this Doctor to any one he is a really good doctor and knows whats best for he,s patients

Needs a friendlier desk staff. Would like to feel like a person, not just a number.
