Dr. Charles Yang, MD

Dr.Yang being nothing but a very general doctor. He doesn't really listen to a patient's concern and questions. Also, time seems to be so valuable to him (very business oriented) that he doesn't care about quality treatment.The main reason I chose him is because his office can schedule a next day appt for my blood test. During my visit, I told him about my condition and how did I feel. He did not really say anything or offer any suggestions to my ease my conditions. I have never ever met such a silent and cold doctor!! Then he drew my blood, and that's it. JUST 5 MINUTES FOR THE WHOLE VISIT!! I also asked him about pap smear test, and he said he will do it the following week when I see him for my blood test result. But during the following visit he forgot, and when I asked him he told me to go to a OBGYN!!!! He should have told me that before!! He basically LIED and DIDN'T CARE!Definitely the kind of general doc who just getting the very basic job done, and squeezing in… as many patients as he can.

DR. Yang is very friendly,caring and always checks to make sure you have all the check ups needed he is the best doctor in Huntington Beach.... His staff Nancy is very friendly and nice all the time.

The good thing is, you can get an appointment quickly - virtually with no waiting at all. However, part of the reason is that he does not have too many patients in the first place - at least from my observations in the lobby. That partially contributed by his lack of caring for his patients.Yang tried to spend as little time as possible during each appointment. I have seen him several times. He spent an average of possibly 3 minutes for each visit. The only thing that he did was to take a quick glance of your throat (or your knee) and immediately fire you with a prescription slip for antibiotic. Then he would try to get away from the room asap, as if he would get infected from staying in the room a few seconds longer. He did not bother to spend time in telling you what you need to do besides taking the medicine - e.g. more fluid intake, avoid spicy food, get more rest. While you dont need your doctor be your best friend, he or she should do the due-diligence. My impression is… that he does not care (at least did not show it) for his patients.No wonder you can get an appointment right away. Really, there is no need to wait when you see him. Also, you dont need to be afraid you will be late for your next appointment. You will be out of the office almost as soon as you get in.
