Dr. Chelsea Elizabeth Price, DO

She is extremely thorough and would explain every thing in details. She is very professional and always gives medical advice based on data. She is very confident and I always felt comfortable with her medical advice.

Dr. price is the best doctor I’ve ever had. Very knowledgeable, listens to my concerns and gives detailed explanations/instructions about my plan of care. I’m really happy to have her as my doctor again.

This doctor was un-empathetic and sounded unhappy when she picked up my mid-night call to Evergreen obgyn reporting continuous period-like pain for a whole day during my first trimester. She cut me off several times before I even finished describing my record and symptoms, and tried to “tell” me I’m not having uterus related pains when I absolutely do. She spent more time explaining how she can’t schedule schedule or make a diagnosis than looking at my records or hearing me out. As I angrily hung up, she did try to call me back 5 mins later to apologize and explain, but the first call was enough for me to write her off. How could an obgyn act so impatiently towards someone’s pain and potential problems with her pregnancy?

She caught my cholestatis in my pregnancy. She likes to be certain with things which I appreciate. She explains things well.

I went to see Dr. Price for a uterine ablation, which she claimed to have done 100s of. Unfortunately, I woke up to hear from my mother that I didn't get an ablation but instead my uterus was punctured. It took me over 24 hours to get ahold of Dr. Price as she didn't follow up with me on her own. My out of pocket cost after insurance was around $400. My follow up visit was awkward and at that point she said she didn't think I was a candidate for an ablation in the future and referred me to another doctor. I know that not all procedures go as planned but I didn't feel cared for afterwards by Dr. Price.

I really like Dr Price. I had a really rough labor (31hrs,5hr pushing) so she was called into help. My baby was crooked and wouldn't come out. So to save me a emergency c section she was asked to deliver my baby. She was very skilled and was able to get him out with forceps(which I later found out is a rare tool used by doctors these days and not taught anymore) very easily. I'm am very grateful for her and considering making her my primary.
