Dr. Cheri Blauwet, MD

I have been seeing Dr Blauwet for about 4 years now. She was referred to me by my orthopedic surgeon to do an ultrasound guided cortisone injection in my shoulder. I have had many cortisone injections but this was my first experience with the ultrasound. My first visit she could see how afraid I was. I informed her about my painful experiences with them. She was very patient and made sure to cover everything. She took her time and waited until I was comfortable and held my hand at one point telling me everything would be okay. She is the most compassionate doctor I have seen. She is truly caring and one, if not the BEST around. I am still doing these injections about once a year and Dr Blauwet always makes them more tolerable, being as gentle as she can. She has been a godsend for me saving me from needless surgeries and unnecessary pain. Don't let bad reviews sway you not to give her a try. I've seen a lot of doctors and had a lot of surgeries for my shoulder problem, she is top… notch!!

I was referred to Dr.Blauwet for an Ultrasound Guided Injection for a frozen shoulder. I read some mixed reviews about her but judge people for myself but i keep in mind reviews i read. My experience today was complete opposite of the 2 other reviews. She was great, didn't feel rushed, talked me thru everything and was an overall great appt.

I when to her thinking she would help me with my recovery that was mistake. Her focus was telling me to get use to pain and working true it, I told her I was taking lots pain killers and her answer to that was it’s your stomach hurting? I said no. Then she told me was ok then. I wounder what she was really thinking. She doesn’t see that we have hopiode problem because what peaple like that. People go to the doctor for help fixing whatever is wrong not to learn to leave with pain.
