Dr. Cherie Renee Gilleon, DO

Both Dr. Gilleon and this office are terrible, inconsiderate, negligent, and delusional. TLDR: -Never remembers why I am there to see her even when she has asked me to schedule a follow up - Does not remember what she said in past appointments - Blamed me and my conditions for her lack of considerate care - Became agitated, defensive, and unprofessional when I raised concerns with her - Blames her inability to be sensitive on her busy schedule -Throws diagnoses at everything, immediately convinced that she is right. These diagnoses scared me because of their numerousness and severity, and she was not receptive to my desire for clearer information. - Wanted to switch me off a medication I have taken for years with no problems -Refuses to fill the prescriptions despite several requests, messages, and phone calls to the office - Made assumptions about my health and diet that were incorrect, not asking me -Recommended a diet to someone with an eating disorder. When I raised… this with her, she said “That must be hard” and repeated the diet recommendation. She made me relapse.

Dr. Gilleon is a great human being and fantastic doctor. She listens to her patients. Takes time with her patients and provides ecxeptional quality medical care. All these qualities make her stand out from the rest of general practitioners in Chicago.

I am new to the area and was worried about finding a doctor I liked as well as my doctor in Cleveland, but I found her! Dr. Gillion is great! Fantastic bed side manner, very knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable. I love her and her staff.

Dr.Gilleon is a great doctor. She has been taking care of our little girl since she was born. She is always friendly and kind. I am very glad my daughter is in great hands.

The office could run a bit more smoothly... But she is worth the wait. Great doc, great personality, charming, smart.

Need to find better staff with honest manners

I was impressed with Dr. Gilleon's professionalism, and knowledge about my son's condition. We lost our previous doctor due to a hospital dropping from our insurance and I was soo worried because my children had been with their doctor since birth. I am no longer worried or concerned since signing up with Dr. Gilleon.
