Dr. Cheryl Renee Bellaire, MD

I’ve had the privilege of being under Dr. Cheryl Bellaire’s care for both of my pregnancies — my first son was born via C-section in 2023, and in 2024, she delivered my twin boys. Each experience was handled with incredible care, professionalism, and kindness. Dr. Bellaire managed both deliveries beautifully, and I always felt safe and supported under her guidance. She also performed the circumcisions for all three of my sons, and everything went smoothly with great results. I’m truly grateful for her expertise and compassionate approach. I highly recommend Dr. Bellaire to any expectant mother looking for a skilled and caring OBGYN!

She explained things in terms I understood.

Dr. Bellaire is excellent. She has been nothing but honest and thorough with examinations. I appreciate her honest perspective and how she addresses topics like being healthy to assure you manage menopause. I was able to ride out menopause and child bearing years because of her realist conversations. The staff is lovely and I now have my daughters in my practice. She was able to diagnose my oldest with Hashimoto and a prolactin tumor quickly while every other doctor thought her weight gain was her own fault. She is awesome.

Dr Belluaire delivered all three of my children and gave me great care. She even allowed me to VBAC with my second child. Another thing I like is that you can always get a real person at the office.

I didn't appreciate her bedside manner or the way she seemed like she needed to be somewhere else and gave the impression that i was getting in the way. I often left her office so upset. She and her receptionist both complained to me about how long their fax machine was tied up when my records from my last doctor's office were being sent. I asked her to explain why she was forcing me to undergo frequent testing and despite my repeated questions, she just parroted "that's what they recommend." there were no indicators of any medical conditions besides my weight. She would make passing comments about my weight-nothing outright insulting. In the end, she did do a safe delivery and was mostly decent in the hospital, but i would never recommend her to anyone. Fyi, let your patient push out the placenta herself instead of automatically reaching up inside of her. That seriously hurts.

I can't believe that she is still practicing. She delivered my first baby in 2003, it was a terrible experience. Extremely rude during pre natal visits. She was disgusted by my weight gain, which I lost all of, and gained the same with my next two pregnancies and again lost all of the weight afterwards. I left her practice immediately after delivery. She subsequently lost her licence to deliver at Paoli hospital due to extreme lack of attention to patients...

I went for a simple exam and referral for an ultrasound while I was having heavy periods. She looked at my prescriptions for PTSD and made a crass joke that she hoped I didn’t have PTSD for vaginal exams!

Run do not walk away from her. She performed a hysterectomy on me 16 years ago. She damaged my uretor while doing the surgery but sewed me up. When I continued to complain about pain when I got home, she insisted I was not taking my pain meds correctly. After 6 days of my kidney emptying into my gut, I went to the ER. There she tried to PREVENT ME. FROM HAVING CARE. The ER doctor recognized right away that something was damaged during surgery and I needed immediate attention, while she screamed in the ER to send me home. 3 surgeries in the next 24 hours corrected the problem. Accidents can happen during surgery. Her total disregard for my well being is not acceptable. I was hours away from losing my kidney and possibly my life and she did not care. Please if you are considering surgery with this woman, please go somewhere else. I have heard of many other surgical "mistakes".

I can't believe she still has a license to practice. She is not a nice person.

I was extremely disappointed by Dr. Bellaire. Her bedside manner was entirely unacceptable and during a painful procedure she showed no compassion. She seemed rushed and continually sighed during the attempt to put an IUD in. I left the office in tears and will not be returning.
