Cheryl Clansy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), trained Mediator, and Life Coach with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Cheryl is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and couples address their unique challenges, resolve conflicts, and live more fulfilled lives. She specializes in anxiety, grief, relationship issues, school issues, and major life transitions. Cheryl completed her doctoral degree at Grambling State University. She has professional experience in public education, postsecondary education, and the nonprofit sector. This, coupled with her preparation as a mediator and life coach enables her to provide the guidance and support her clients are seeking. Cheryl uses multiple treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
