Dr. Cheryl Lynn Kellogg, MD

Dr. Patterson-Kellogg, MD is an amazing internist who sincerely takes the time to listen and accurately prescribe the "right" tests including medications. I had been a patient of Dr. Kellogg's for over 15years until a recent and unfortunate situation where her office manager side railed me resulting from a disagreement I had with her and confrontation where she destroyed my recent medical records. This office manager in an effort to cover up her GROSS errors (HIPPA council board members would have a hay-day if they knew) where she destroyed my medical records because "she didn't like me" as a result.... convincing Dr. Kellogg to release me as long time patient based on a LIES this office manager reported to Dr. Kellogg. I'm sick over this as I have lost my internist doctor whom we have had a great relationship with NO conflicts with each other what so ever for over 15 years, due towards her office manager's doing. From what I understand, I'm in good company in terms of this manager… has done this to other patient' of Dr. Kellogg'. I'm disapointed Dr. Kellogg never reached out to contact me "directly" to even inquire as to her office manager' FALSE allegations and complaints she reported to Dr. Kellogg, all due towards my confronting her office manager. It make me look like "I was a problem patient." If this was remotely the case, Dr. Patterson-Kellogg would have released me as her patient long before this Office Manager came on board to her practice I'm guessing 4yrs ago. Don't discount Dr. Kellogg's abilities as a competent internist if you have a run in (which a good number of patients have had with her office manager. I would not have taken the time to write this if it were the case.

Her name is now Dr. Kellogg and her office is in Laguna Niguel. She is so thorough, gives me my options and understands my needs. I've gone to her for 15 years and can't say enough positive about her.

This physician is a terrific find. She's know her stuff and comes across as knowledgable, experienced, currant with today's medicine. Very confident, got my diagnosis and treatment spot on. I'm the type that likes one main doctor, and will stick with them for life if I feel the right connection. I'm a woman and liked finding a female doc. But I get the feeling she's great with guys, kids, seniors, everyone. Don't hesitate to go.

The major problem I have with this doctor is:- if you need to speak to a live body in the office, good luck. I recommend you get your care elsewhere. During office hours they will not answer the phone, they leave the message machine on. Off hours calls go to the exchange. They do not return calls in a timely manner (I'm talking days here.)- The follow up care is poor. I've had a concerning test result now at least 2 if not 3 times in a row, and she just wantsthe solution seems to be to just keep testing.. (what, to see if it really is the true result? I don't know because I cannot get a live body on the phone (they apparently prefer to communicate through voice messages if at all.)Also, the answer machine message states all doctors is this office are taking new patients, my experience is that they don't have enough time to address the patients they already have (and are likely loosing due to poor service.)
