Dr. Cheryl Ann Kerns, MD

In the middle of the night my 3 yo son screamed With pain on his back. I went to Cheryl kerns and explained to her what was going on,I knew something was up, cause my son never did that, she gave him cough syrup!!! Next day same thing happened,I took my son back to her and then I questioned her about the “cough syrup“ He didn’t have a cold, no signs at all. Than I demanded a urine test and blood test! She didn’t want to do it, we started to argue, I brought my mother in law with me because I thought she wasn’t respecting me because Im not American, so I confronted her about the cough syrup, and why she doesn’t listen, and acts like she is the best,very arrogant woman, and closed minded. So blood work came back,my son had a infection generalized due to an infection on his lower lobe of his lungs, she came back and sarcastically said “good you used your mother instincts”! She doesn’t listen, she gets up in her pedestal and believes she is the one always right and… the patient doesn’t know nothing!

I went to Dr. Kerns as a child and now send my daughter to her. I understand other parents complaints regarding her bedside manner-she is not particularly warm and fuzzy-but she is a very talented physician. Her experience is vast and she has always been quick to figure out what's going on.

We were in Dr Kern's care for a few years, there is no compassion, no warmth there what so ever. She lectures, listens but doesnt hear. With her, its either my way or the highway. Kids are special little people and you need to have a heart if you choose to work with them. By the way, my son cried every time we saw her.
