Dr. Cheryl A Maurice

I was a patient of Dr. Maurice for 15 years. In all that time never had a single problem. Last week I get a certified letter from the office 57 words telling me they will no longer provide medical care to me. I sent them back a letter explaining my confusion and still not having a clue what has caused this action. Today I get a call from Dr. Maurice's office manager. READY FOR THIS!!!! "THE REASON FOR THEM TERMINATING ME AS A PATIENT IS I HAVE BEEN NONE COMPLIANT" When I asked her to please explain, this was what I was told "YOU ARE NON COMPLIANT BECAUSE WHEN YOU LEAVE AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENTS YOU DON'T STOP AT THE DESK TO MAKE YOUR FOLLOW APPOINTMENTS INSTEAD I JUST LEAVE AND CALL TO MAKE MY APPOINTMENT." Are you seriously kidding me. Well in all honesty I guess I have to admit they are probably doing me a favor. Even though Dr. Cheryl Maurice is my primary care doctor on paper you are lucky if you get to actually see her once a year. Add to that if you do have any problem they will… give you a referral to go see another doctor. Ocotillo may sorta diagnosis you but they send you out for treatment so you will end up having to see several doctors.

Dr Maurice is very articulate, qualified. Personality grows on you. I really enjoy her!

Outstanding doctor. I really appreciate the absence of small children and blaring TV's in the waiting room.

This is absolutely the worst medical office I have ever visited, period!!

She takes her time and explains and asks questions, love it.

Excellent care and service!

In my 65 years I have never had the care like I have received from everyone associated with Dr. Maurice. They are the very best that anyone could ask for!

Patient care is excellent. Always answers all my questions and doesn't make me feel rushed. Wait time is minimal. Easier to get into see Nurse Practicioner than Dr. Maurice for minor issues. Care is still excellent and have been able to get in same day when called early AM. NP is very good.

My husband is extremely ill with many problems. We met Dr. Maurice when he was in a nursing factility recovering. She was new in the area and appts. were easily made. That changed in a year. He bacame upset in her office one day, with good reason. She evidently cannot handle this and wrote a letter saying she could not continue to treat him. How is that for a doctor's concern. She is not mature enough to handle difficult situations.

Have had the pleasure of seeing many excellent doctors over the years. In my opinion Dr. Maurice rates as one of the very best. She is thoughtful and caring and extremly easy to talk to.
