Cheryl Remigio, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician at UT Health East Texas Physicians South Broadway in Tyler. Raised by a family of doctors in the Philippines, Dr. Remigio started out as a physical therapist, but soon decided to change the course of her career. "I thought I could do more for people if I were a doctor."Dr. Remigio began her career in the Philippines before moving to the U.S. to practice medicine. In Corpus Christi, she worked as a pediatrician before moving to Tyler with her husband and three children. "I just love working with kids and parents," she said. "I put myself in the parents' shoes and think, 'If this were my child, what would I do?'"Dr. Remigio is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.

Dr. Remigio never made us feel rushed and took time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. We are so grateful to have found her!

Minutes on previous page is estimated. Dr Remigio was fantastic! She answered all my questions. And took care of my children. She's always very nice and approachable. Didn't feel rushed. She took time to help my children feel at ease. Would recommend her 100%. We drive over an hour just to see her. One of my children has many doctors and she is one that really listens and is helpful. We love her. My kids are happy to see her too.

Dr. Remigio is a great physician, I am so happy my son was able to get her. We relocated here from Tennessee and she has been so intellectual, informing, and very compassionate about the care she provides. Her bedsides manners are the absolute best and you do not have to wait on her for hours with a sick child. I would definitely recommend.

Dr. Remigio is an amazing pediatrician! She listens to my children (her patients) and always has a kind and nurturing demeanor. We love Dr. Remigio and appreciate her!
