Dr. Raman saw me when I was inpatient at Valley Hospital following a small bowel resection. He wasn't the surgeon who performed the operation, but handled post-op care. I really felt like I was in good hands with him. He answered any questions I had and was very knowledgeable.

Dr. Raman was very quick with getting me into surgery and making sure I got the help I need.

Dr. Raman did an excellent removal of my Gallbladder. Badly deteriorated filled with stone and gangereen. Laparoscopic removal, very little pain after the removal. Very professional and comforting. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Dr. Raman server me with excellent, He was very soft spoken and took his time during my follow up visit. I would recommend Dr. Raman to anyone that is looking for a surgeon.

Dr. Raman was one of the doctors who operated on my husband for emergency hernia surgery a few weeks ago in Valley Hospital. I found him to be very thorough, understanding, compassionate, and a good listener. He was patient in answering all of our questions and clearly explained the procedure. He's a very caring doctor.

Dr. Ramen did an incomplete workup on me which resulted in severe complications 24 hours after surgery. I hemoragged and needed 3 mass transfusions plus an 8 hour surgery and another hospital to save my life. I survived, but will never be the same. Please, please.. if Dr. RAMEN is called to do your surgery, insist on another surgeon.

Terrible experience with Dr. Raman - he was impossible to get a follow up appointment with, he does not return his pages, he balanced billed be for over $9,000, was unreasonable and would not discuss a reasonable payment. Dr Raman was paid by my insurance company for my procedure but continued to send bills based on the fact that there "could have been complications" - although there was not.
