Dr. Chin Hung Ho, MD

I saw him to ask about removing a cyst, and he removed it that day. I was worried about what the procedure would be like, but it was quick and painless. Would recommend him to anyone.

He is pleasant enough,and gets down to business,which is probably why he is on time. I'd rather have that then wait for 30+ minutes for him to come into the room. If you talk to him he is pleasant and will answer your questions. I would recommend him to other people in need of a dermatologist.

I’m not sure if these are all family members/ friends leaving their reviews but I had a starkly different initial meeting with Dr.Ho. His demeanor greeted me with arms folded as though I was interrupting his busy day. His PA, whom I was never introduced to, did all the work during the appointment. Dr.Ho misdiagnosed a rash I showed him. When I kindly asked him to look at a mole on my back, it was the most awkwardly uncomfortable moment as though he wasn’t really concerned. I also asked to kindly get put back on a prescription face cream for acne prescribed by my previous dermatologist in NJ. With my face mask on the whole appointment, he felt I “didn’t need the face cream” and seemed to give off an air of arrogance that he knew my skin better then me. My skin flawlessly glowed on the prescription he thought I “didn’t need.” He refused to put me back on my old prescription. Instead he had me go out and buy OTC products that were literally all in the prescription he refused to put me… back on...? So the theme of the appointment seemed as though he knew all and I knew nothing about my own face. Very different meeting but maybe he was having an off day? Because my time too is valuable as the patient, I will be scheduling my next appointment with a different provider who listens to me and actually looks at my face with my mask off. Very disappointing after having a baby and just wanting to go back on my old prescription retinol face cream after I’m finally able to.

Was incorrect regarding diagnosis, made me feel as though he was just after the money and no concern regarding my complaint, I would never go to him again nor would I ever recommend him very poor excuse for a doctor

Rude. Seemed in a hurry. Kept asking “what else, what else”. I would prefer to see another dermatologist next time.

Great to see a Dr. like him in the North Country. He is very friendly and helpful, he really makes his patients feel comfortable and taken care of.
