Dr. Chokkalingam Siva

Absolutely the most condescending and egotistical person I have ever met. I will never set foot in his office again!

I met with him for a second opinion, but he was rude and berated me for not believing the first doctor. My goal was to ensure I'm not taking unnecessary medication, and since I was recently diagnosed with a new disease after years of a misdiagnosis to ensure another doc agrees. He stated diet and lifestyle will have zero affect of inflammation, which I have found to be very incorrect. He was not friendly toward a new patient, and kept misstating what I had just told him. He said I should not be asking for medicine based on commercials I see on TV, which is something I have never done. I was concerned with the side effects of the recommended drugs, and he said I should not do my own research and just take them as prescribed. We were waiting on prior test results to be faxed over from another office, but he suggested we just do our own tests outside of the follow-up schedule with my current Rheumatologist. He may be a fine doctor, but he is not for me. His FNP, Cheryl McGowan, was… wonderful, and I'm surprised she tolerates working under him.

Totally agree he definitely needs to find another line of work seen him for a year a waiste of my time is all I can say.

I had siva and one of his students "dr. Kohli" They are completely in the wrong field of work!! Going in I was 30 mins early like they requested me to be for paperwork. Yet I still had to wait an hour and a half in waiting room to even get seen. So I got seen by Dr kohli who then asks me what they're seeing me for. While he's holding all the info my primary doctor sent him in his hand.. so I told him everything. Test results. Symptoms. Like pain. Sporadic bruising. Inflammation. Dizziness. Fatigue. Everything. He blew everything off and his "cureall" was to ignore all test results and sign me up for a sleep study because apparently the fatigue was the worst in his eyes and he thinks a sleeping problem is causing everything. He would not listen to my concerns. Can barely speak proper English and doesn't care flat out. Dr siva the program director over him came in and instead of learning about the case asked kohli what we're doing. Kohli didn't tell my symptoms or anything just said he's… signing me up for sleep study. That apparently appeased siva. No matter what In their eyes the patient is wrong about how they feel and what symptoms they have and they pick and choose what symptom matters. Now because of them not giving me the tests they were supposed to and treating me. I have pleurisy caused by lupus they wouldn't even diagnose or test for and am now having to go to a different rheumatologist and in even more pain thanks alot for being a waste of space and my time. You'd be better suited as fry cook at McDonald's both of you.
