My child saw another Rheumatolgist out of town who was more educated in EDS and diagnosed it. Dr. Patwardhan told my child they needed to exercise more and they'd feel all better. Since then we learned EDS has strict stretching and exercise restrictions. Plus my child has since been diagnosed with POTS that she should have picked up on even if neurology isn't her specialty. She showed zero care for my child's struggles and downplayed them. She also assumed I was fussing over nothing because my child was, in other words, lazy.

My child was diagnosed with arthritis by Dr Patwardhan after we have seen several physicians and mot knowing what was wrong with Amber I am so so thankful to her
