Dr. Chou Ying Wu, MD

Dr Wu has always been competent, responsive and accurate during my over 10 years with her. Shes great!

Dr. Chou Wu has been my primary care physician since 2008. She is very thorough and has seen me through many ups and downs through the years. She orders tests on a timely basis and shares the results in easy-to-understand ways. I think she is THE GREATEST!!

Refused to order tests recommended by the ER doctors and wouldn't refer me to a specialist. Filed a complaint with Blue Shield yesterday.

I think this doc is great

Dr. Wu and her staffs are very unprofessional. The office only accepts cash or check (who uses checks any more?). Last time I paid wth cash and they called at the end of day to ask denomination because their register was short, so apparently they had a thief among them. This time the Dr. yelled at me in front of her staff and within ear-shot of other patients because I didn't remember that they don't accept credit or debit cards and I didn't have cash for the copay.

I wasted two years without beign diagnosed. when i had my firt physical i explained that i was having problems sleeping, had irregular menstrual cycles, was feeling anxious, starting to have skin problems, and experiancing miganes and gaining weight. All things that where NOT normal for my body. I had never had a migrane before and was now experancing them almost daily. i had explained that i had looked things up on line and tried some over the counter stuff that was recomended by ny pharmacist. melatonin for sleep, motrin, exedrin ect. i gave each a few weeks and nothing seemed to help. i was really frustrated and confused by all these changes and really wanted to find out the CAUSE of all these things. i made that very clear, i didnt just want medication to mask symptoms. she said these symptoms where normal and they would go away on their own. i had a follow up a few months after things where getting worse i was miserable. again she dissmised me i asked why she wouldnt do more… thorough blood test or mri speciallist or something. her reply was " if your headaches are so bad go to an emergency room" if you dont like the way i work find a different dr!!" i couldnt belive how rude and dissmisive she was just cause i was concerned about my health. i took her advice and did just that. Found my self a new Dr. on my first appointment with my new Dr. she ran very thorough test and diagnosed me with graves disease. not the best of news but at least things finally made sence! i was finally referred to specialist (neurologist, endocrinologist, cardiologist) i was close to having heart damage because of stubborn dr. not listening to me, im glad i listened to my body shame that all those years of experiance make her think she knows everything. clearly she does not!! i now feel like myself again thanks to my new competent dr.s! KEEP YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES AWAY!!!!!

Dr. Wu is very professional, capable and thorough. She enjoys solving problems and does so in a caring manner. My wife and I would definitely recommend this doctor to others.

This is my second time with Dr. Wu after about 7 years. I have always found her to be honest and up front. As far as her bedside manner(caring), honesty with your patient is caring to me,

She is cold, no bedside manner. Laughed at me when I was having sciatic nerve pain. She treated me like a criminal asking for help, or as if I were lying about the matter because I wanted pain medicine. I also went to see her because I was experiencing anxiety attacks and my heart was racing and I felt faint. She would not write me a Dr.s note for the time I missed work during the week I was having panic attacks. Overall she is a poor physician. Maybe she only is nice to senior citizens. I chose her because of the reviews she had, I disagree, she sucks!
